A club with no fee, no airs, and no sommelier checklists
The Clandestine Tasting Club started on Instagram, uncorking bottles and saying, unfiltered, what blew us away and what didn't. This site is its home: the place where those bottles stop being fleeting and become searchable, re-readable and — if you fancy it — buyable.
How we write
We don't fill in checklists. No "nectar of the gods", no "symphonies on the palate". If a wine reminds us of licking a fizzy sweet, we say so. If there's a grape we still haven't pinned down, we admit it. That's exactly where the credibility comes from.
How we make a little money
Some bottles carry links to shops where you can buy them. If you buy through them, the Club earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. The rule is simple: we only link what we'd recommend anyway. We spell it out in theaffiliate disclosure.
Who's behind it
Rafa, and a group of friends far too curious about what's inside a bottle. We write in the first person because that's what the Club is: real people with their own taste, not a faceless brand.
